DIGITAL GRAPHIC WORKFLOW
Direct Laser Engraving, uses a fully digital graphic workflow, to process a 1 bit tiff into a 3 dimensional relief image ready for laser imaging into the finished printing form. This ensures no process or operator influenced variation of the digital image through the pre-press process, resulting in exact reproduction of the client image on the finished print form. INK TRANSFER – FLEXO PRINT FORM
Whichever printing form you use, Photopolymer plate, In-the-round sleeve, direct laser engraved sleeve, the flexo print form, material, hardness and surface finish has a significant impact on ink transfer and cleanliness of the inking process between the anilox and substrate. Print forms can be optimized to suit ink type (water, solvent, UV) and substrate material (PET, PP, PE, Paper, foil).
